Thanks for the great advice Amelia.

Your thoughts about food following surgery have really put my mind at ease!

Thank you

I have just booked a date for surgery and I have been looking for someone who is positive about it. I know it is not going to be easy but I expect to be focussed on what I need to do and look forward to enjoying food.

How long ago did you have surgery?

Thank you

Eating habits after gastric bypass surgery

I so needed to hear this. Thank you so much.

I had surgery on 09/12/12 and have been having a real hard time eating solids. I have just stuck with soups and protein shakes.

That is until I just listened to your message.

I am now eating some soup; however, it has chunks of chicken and usually I would just chew them and spit it out...but not today. I am actually chewing the chicken and swallowing. I'm just scared to be sick so it has prevented me from eating properly.

I will keep trying. Thank you again.

I am going to listen to your message every day for an incentive...;o)

I was checking into different habits of those at 6 weeks post-op and I found your video really helpful.

Every day is a different experience. Somedays I'm hungry and some I'm not. Some days certain things bother me when other days they don't. I just think listening to your body is key and remember to take things slow.

It's only food... It's not what's important. Being happy and healthy is important.

thank you So So MUCH

You answered all my questions I had with not just you explaining with words but I love the fact that you showed what you said with action demonstration. Thank you very much.

I am no longer hesitant to have my bypass on the 15th of this month.

Thank you so much for this video. I am 16 days post-op and I am so nervous about what I put in my mouth because I don't want to be sick.

I was wondering if I'll ever be normal again and your video has given me hope.

Thank you.

great comments thanks

That was great advice. I am going to be more chill and just make sure that what I am eating is nutritious and tasty.

Scared 😬

I was thinking about surgery that’s scheduled in 6 weeks. I keep thinking about all parts of this and I want to thank you very much as this video really helped me know that I’m doing the right thing!
